watz yr status quo...

Spaces and boundaries
Liberation and confinement
A revelation in each…
A pleasant discovery
An unpleasant deja-vu

No frontiers
No edges
No periphery to encounter
Eyes sealed
Unfettered mind
You narrate yourself a scenery
You bring to life your illusions
You stare into oblivion
You dither in a state of unconsciousness
You smile at nothingness
A cup of hope n perplexity
You’re happy bovine…
You hold dear the freedom to rediscover … Imagination fills the void of your existence
…when far from it…you feel incomplete…

Rustic attic
Locked door
Locked mind
An invisible fence
to hold your imaginary flight.
A sinking feeling
Evades you and then chases you
Every day is the same as yesterday…
You can’t see the sun
You can’t hear the whimper
You can’t feel apathy
You’re a fossil
You hit rock bottom
You’re drifting …you fight complacency…
You know it’ll be long before they retrieve you…you’re an amputee waiting to feel your limbs…
Either way…
It’s always a capricious denouement…

Distance and proximity
Stealing time…
Holding on to nothing…
Miles to reach there
You’re comfortable.
Miles besides yourself
Nobody besides yourself
Immediate presence of another
unsettles you…
Stray meandering
You enjoy the labyrinth
It’s erratic
It’s enigmatic
Makes you laugh with yourself
Either way…
It’s always a capricious denouement…

No inclination to hide
No inclination to seek
No inclination to rush

Is there somewhere you WANT to be?
Or is there somewhere you HAVE to be?

Or maybe you want to rest the hour-glass…sink in the spaces and boundaries …revel in the distance and the proximity…feel the ground beneath you…seal your eyes ..narrate yourself another anecdote ...before you navigate yourself to another destination …
Either way…
It's always a capricious denouement…

“In this quiet little place
I can't remember having known a different pace
In this quiet little place
I can surrender to the beauty of its face
… And now everything I feel
Whether it's fiction or it's real
It's so much clearer
Like the color of this light
It seems more dangerous and bright
But I don't fear her
… And no matter how I try
I can't seem to think of anything better to say”
